- Do I need to give you my password?
- No. We use OpenID for authentication and OAuth over IMAP. We're not storing or even given access to your Google Apps password.
- Are you reading my email?
- No. DokDok indexes metadata about messages in your mailbox: sender and recipients, thread information, dates and name of file attached. We are neither storing the content of messages nor the attachments.
- I'm using Outlook (or any other email client) with my Google Apps account, will DokDok work?
- In part. The gadget giving contextual information from an opened message is available only in Gmail's web interface but the document archive will work no matter which email client you use. Just sign in app.dokdok.com.
- If DokDok is free, how are you making money?
- Once we're out of beta, we'll announce a paying account with premium features. We think you'll find it well worth paying for.
- I don't understand how to install this in my Google Apps account
-
- Make sure you have admin rights to your Google Apps domain otherwise you'll need to ask someone who does to install DokDok.

- Follow instructions on screen or see this help article for more information.
- I have a standard @gmail.com email, can I use DokDok?
- Unfortunately not. The contextual gadget API we use has been made available for Google Apps domains only. You can either register for a free Google Apps Standard Edition account or wait until contextual gadgets become available to personal Gmail accounts (keep in mind no intentions to do so have been announced by Google at this time).
